The Schoenbuch, a large mixed forest south of Boeblingen, was designated as a Naturpark and provides extensive walking and cycling trails. The Oberer See and Unterer See, two lakes in the town centre, create a recreational focus near the pedestrian zone. Sindelfingen, home to the Mercedes-Benz assembly plant, borders directly to the west. The S-Bahn connects to Stuttgart's centre in around 25 minutes. Adult companionship follows Baden-Wuerttemberg's regulatory approach.
