The town is part of the Bertha Benz Memorial Route: in 1888, Bertha Benz stopped at Wiesloch's Stadt-Apotheke to refuel during the first long-distance automobile journey. The Gerbersruh park provides green space on the town's southern edge. Wiesloch and Walldorf together form a twin-town centre.
