Meiderich: Landschaftspark, Blast Furnace Playground, and Duisburg's Industrial Rebirth
Meiderich has a population around 45,300 and forms a district in the north of Duisburg, Nordrhein-Westfalen. The Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord, built on the grounds of the former Thyssen steelworks, is one of the most celebrated examples of post-industrial landscape conversion in Europe.
