Uebach-Palenberg: Carolus Magnus Thermal Baths, Rimburg Castle on the Wurm, and the Heinsberg District Town at the Dutch-German Border
Uebach-Palenberg has roughly 25,500 inhabitants and lies in the Heinsberg district of Nordrhein-Westfalen, at the Dutch border. The Carolus-Thermen, a thermal bathing complex, draws visitors from both countries. Rimburg castle, straddling the Wurm river at the border, is partly in Germany and partly in the Netherlands.
