Velbert: Lock and Key Capital, Bergisches Land Heights, and Germany's Security Hardware Centre
Velbert has a population around 88,000 and sits on the hills of the Bergisches Land in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Neviges is known for the Wallfahrtsdom (Pilgrimage Cathedral), a Brutalist concrete church designed by Gottfried Boehm and completed in 1968, one of the most striking religious buildings of the 20th century.
